Residents of Taman Bukit Emas will find it extremely convenient to
commute to and for the city centre as it is linked to many major
highways. Apart from that, there are also many amenities surrounding
this low to medium-density neighborhood.
However, it is reported that there was 8 cases of snatch theft
within the span of three weeks. In regards to that, residents of
Taman Bukit Emas have held a meeting with the police in order to
address the problem. As a result, they will be installing three boom
gates in Jalan Bukit Mayang 1/10, 1/11, and an illegal road which we
call Jalan Tikus that is located at the junction of Jalan 1/9 and
1/11.
According to Cynthia Gabriel, MBPJ has set up the Bandar Selamat
programme and allocated RM5mil for an auxiliary police force. It is
said that a total of 100 auxiliary policemen which will be trained
at Bukit Amana, to act as a back up force in Petaling Jaya.
